2 Chainz Announces New Album ‘So Help Me God’

2 Chainz is on the road to making a new album. His sixth solo studio album So Help Me God will be released through Def Jam Recordings on September 25. The film will follow its full-length Rap or Go to the League which was produced by LeBron James as director. In a recent press release, Def Jam also hinted that his new music video for the Lil Wayne-featuring “Money Maker” will be releasing in the near future.

Back in March 2015, Kanye West declared that his follow-up to Yeezus would be titled So Help Me God, but that album ultimately became The Life of Pablo. 2 Chainz has remained busy since his 2019 effort. In February, he released his T.R.U. imprint compilation No Face No Case. He was a prominent feature on RTJ4 by Run The Jewels. In late-July he teamed up with Rick Ross to go head-to-head in a VERZUZ Battle.
