Born Kwadwo Nkansah, known in the movie industry as “Lilwin” has revealed that “Pooley” hit maker Guru inspired him to bring the best out of him in his music life.
The “Mama Boss Papa” singer said “you need someone who is in the industry and knows more about the industry to help you before coming to the limelight,“ I am not really educated so my interests were; music, dancing, fooling, football and acting”.
He made these statement in an interview with Abof-kay a host of Sunyani based radio station MOONLITE FM, adding that “Guru has been God sent in my music life, helping me with some couple of tracks.
“Let’s all help and accept our own, especially sunyani based artist ” Kooko”, using his local dialect “Bono” in his songs even makes him exceptional. Kooko is very good just like Okomfo Kwadee and Kwaw Kese”. ” Fa wo ladder” video with Odehyieba will be out on Monday or Tuesday” he added.
He continued saying “I never dreamt of being a star like this. Let’s all not forget everyone has power in him/her. Be humble, determine and wait patiently for your time. I was a “shoemaker”, I never dreamt of acting in movies even to think of being a star. Nobody can help except God.
He concluded saying “We should all learn from what happened ” lynching of Captain Mahama” and desist from such acts and make Ghana a better place for us all. We should also investigate into issues before taking actions, my condolence to the family of late Captain Mahama
