Cancel the Ongoing WASSCE, It Has No “Credibility”: GNAT, CCT-Gh, P.T.A, NAGRAT Must Step In- Educationist Cries*

Respected Ghanaian Educationist, Counsellor Daniel Fenyi, has expressed utmost worry about the extreme leakage of the ongoing WASSCE questions, called ‘apo’, on the internet which has compromised the credibility of the entire examination.

Eventhough Counsellor Daniel has already discussed this awkward development with the Minister of Education, Hon. Matthew Opoku Prempeh and has been given some assurances of sanity in the examination, He hopes to further engage more apolitical and relevant educational stakeholders to have the entire WASSCE cancelled.

Counsellor Daniel insinuated that all the questions are seen flying on social media before they are taken in the examination centres. This he suspects is the making of some workers at WAEC who must be investigated and punished, if found guilty.

The Educationist has called on all teacher unions like GNAT, NAGRAT, CCT-Gh, P.T.A, ATAG and TEWU to step in and show keen interest in this wierd academic tsunami exploding in Ghana. He alledged that some invigilators, teachers and headmasters are seriously involved in this criminal act and must be severely dealt with.

He said if the right things are not done now, Ghana shall regret in the future since we shall be producing doctors, teachers, lawyers, engineers, politicians, accountants, etc who have no knowledge and competence in their fields and stealing/cheating is normal to them.

Counsellor Fenyi said he would blame every mess in the education sector on too much politicisation which is destroying the country’s educational system and if drastic measures are not put in place to curb it, the future of the country will be disastrous.
