Churches Must Assist Gospel Artistes – Enoch Tetteh (Homily)

Gospel artiste,Enoch Tetteh (Homily) has entreated churches to support musicians to lessen the financial burden on them when launching their careers.

Tetteh who is currently promoting his debut album,Medi nkunim (Victory over the enemy) said the lack of support from churches has hindered many young gospel artistes from flourishing, thus killing many talents in the church.

It’s very difficult to begin a career as an artiste because you have to fund the cost of production and other expenses which is obviously expensive for any young artiste without enough resources.

Surprisingly, the church hasn’t been of much assistance in this regard and that has been a huge, burden on most of us,he stated.
Tetteh, who is the current host of TRANSFORMATION HOUR ON SHADOW RADIO said the situation has given rise to the practise where established gospel artiste are compelled to charge for free before featuring on a song or when invited to perform at a concert organised by a new artiste.

Sometimes you can’t blame them when they charge such fees because they have to defray their coat. However when the church comes in to assist, our gospel artistes will not be this money conscious.Tetteh (Homily) a member of the Church Of Pentecost stated a seven tracks album which was launched in November last year umpires Christians to hold steadfast to the power of prayer and live righteously.

Medi nkunim which is the the title track is getting ample play and Tetteh, an old student of Suhum Presec, is confident his first album will shoot him to fame.
Enock Tetteh(Homily) is and Evangelist and professional Forklifter. His love for the work of God has seen him preach the word of God at various second cycle institution in a bid to win the youth for Christ.

A member if the Global Music and Evangelistic Network,(G-MEN).Tetteh(Homily) also entreated gospel artistes to be more original with their composition.

The renditions of songs are becoming too much and that is hindering the Music industry’s progress. He added.
