The 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) nominees list is out and expected, Ghanaians are showing some signs of displeasure.
Many concerned Ghanaians took on to social media to express their worries and some also gave suggestions on how to make the awards very credible.
On these grounds, fast-growing upcoming Ghanaian artiste, Swagga signed under SamRoc Entertainment decided to add his humble suggestion on how VGMA can serve its purpose without raising doubts in the minds of Ghanaians.
Speaking exclusively to DJ Okwas of Hiprader.Net, Swagga pointed out that, the VGMA board needs some forms of shaking and reshuffling.
According to the young rapper, it has appeared that the board members of VGMA are fast becoming very complacent; hence, they are not doing any effective job.
He added that, when people are allowed to stay in one office for many years, complacency sets in because they don’t unlearn to learn new things.
“…Undoubtedly, VGMA is the biggest awards event in Ghana so things must be done right. As at now, the board members need some shaking and reshuffling because they are becoming complacent.”
“People should not be allowed to stay at one post for many years.” It is not helpful. VGMA board members must unlearn to learn new things.” he humbly suggested.
