Drake Passes Elvis On List Ranking Most Top 10 Singles On Billboard Hot 100

Drake passes the “King of Rock and Roll” in his quest to make history. Drake may be getting his name dragged through the mud right now, courtesy of Pusha T, but there are still many positives to consider. For one, he is still one of the biggest names in the world. Everybody and their grandmother know who the Canadian singer is. As he continues to break streaming and chart records, Drake is celebrating a stellar new accomplishment as he has surpassed Elvis Presley on the list for most top 10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 among solo male artists. With Lil Baby’s Drake-assisted “Yes Indeed” ranking at #9 this week, the OVO frontman moves one step closer to the top.

Previously tied with the “King of Rock and Roll,” it was only a matter of time before the 6ix God bumped Elvis down a spot on his quest to become the most decorated artist of all time. While he still has a ways to go in the eyes of many before he meets the likes of Michael Jackson at the top, Drizzy is on the right path and, with this new achievement, he inches his way even closer. With 26 top 10 singles to his name, the only artists ahead of him are Elton John with 27, Stevie Wonder with 28 and MJ with 29. As the release of Scorpion is nearly upon us, it’s likely that the Canadian will add a few more top 10’s to the list very soon.

Yesterday, it was reported that Drake’s presumed album singles have already reached a billion streams on Spotify, giving Scorpion incredibly high recognition before it even becomes available. Do you think Drake has a chance at passing Michael Jackson on this list?
