Famous Dex is apparently no longer signed to Rich The Kid’s label. Thing have been nothing but great for Famous Dex over the past few months. The rapper dropped off two projects since late December including his debut album, Dex Meets Dexter. In recent times, he’s announced that he’ll be dropping a new mixtape titled, I Did It. In addition, the label that he’s supposedly signed to, Rich The Kid’s “Rich Forever,” is gearing up for their upcoming label compilation, Rich Forever 4. However, it looks like we might not be seeing Famous Dex on the project.
Famous Dex took to social media to reveal that he’s no longer signed anyone. The rapper was previously on Rich The Kid’s Rich Forever label as one of the few acts on the roster. The video was captioned, “I’m not Signed to nobody.”
“Oh man, I’m so glad.” He said, “I’m so happy I’m a free man. I ain’t signed to nobody.”
It’s unsure why he left the label. It’s possible he might have his own plans to launch his own label or maybe, he and Rich The Kid has some sort of falling out. It should be noted that Rich The Kid’s been rolling out several singles off of Rich Forever 4. The majority of the singles have been with Rich The Kid and Jay Critch. However, Dex is included in the project’s album art.
