Gh Underground Top 10 Music Charts is a weekly countdown of trending Artist on social media and underground – both old and new tracks who have submitted their tracks to the Jury for review.
It is the First ever Music Chart designed to promote the Underground Artists in Ghana starting from 2017 and beyond.
The Idea came from a Renowned Award Wining Dj (Best Mixtape DJ 2016), #RushGhanaDJAwards – DJ X of Royal 89.3FM in consultation with other Music Promoters, Producers, Bloggers, Djs and Song Writers in other to come up with the Best Top 10 Music of the Week.
The announcement was made through social Media and some selected Radio Stations across the country of which an email ( masperms9@gmail.com ) and WhatsApp Line ( +233 506 330 980 ) was given to submit tracks to.
Every Week, The Music Team put together top 10 hottest and trending tracks of various Ghanaian Underground Artist and arrange them in order of its influence on the screens, newspapers and social Media.
Manny different criteria are used in different Music Charts global but for GH Underground Music Chart, the Selection of music is based on the following
Submission of tracks, Biography (with Social Media handles) and Pictures
Must be a Ghanaian
Lyrics must be clean – No Dirty
All Genre of Ghanaian Music (Gospel, HiLife, Hiphop, HipLife, Afrobeats etc)
