Ghana’s Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumi has started his campaign interacting with delegates to win their votes in the upcoming presidential election of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia is selling his ideas to delegates to be elected as the next presidential candidate of the party and eventually break the eight.
Speaking to delegates of the Party in the Tema West Constituency, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia indicated that he remains the best bet to break the eight for the NPP. He added that the NDC led by John Dramani Mahama are afraid of his candidature. According to him, he will beat John Dramani Mahama in the 2024 election if he is elected as the preferred candidate for the NPP.
The Vice President intimated that he is the candidate former president John Mahama and the National Democratic (NDC) fear the most in the upcoming 2024 presidential polls.
According to him, John Dramani Mahama cannot win him in the northern region of Ghana and that is why the National Democratic Congress is scared.
“They know we will break the 8, and they know that John Mahama cannot take me on in the North, and they know that I will beat him in the North and this is why they don’t want me to be the flag-bearer.”, he indicated.
