Why is it so difficult to set a commission of inquiry to look into this issues?

There’s a back log of controversy over 2014 -2017 Bills.
Why not appoint an independent body to look into it and rectify them? Same ECG/PDS officials who admitted to over billing, comes to tell you its rectified..yet no change on the actual Bills..So much mistrust.Who will believe them?.lol

Now PDS takes over from ECG.says it’s a private body, refuses to do it’s own investigations to unravel the truth and goes on the offensive?.

The thieves, who set up this over billing mafia to steal from the people have only been transferred, did we hear of any disciplinary measures against them?.
You go in with police escort to disconnect people in the name of revenue generation, will you go with same police escorts to READ THE METERS after creating so much tension between PDS staff and the people
Common sense is missing here.
Dialogue please, install pre paid meters, find a way to retrieve genuine debts.

Yesterday, a chief was leading a delegation to the office of the municipal chief executive to seek for his intervention into this issues after he has allegedly made several calls to him to no response.

The MCE allegedly refused to meet or see him. People became agitated.
Chief was allegedly heckled out of the premises by security forces. His subjects responded.

Now, facts have and are being twisted and distorted to suit egos.
Newsmen won’t do enough investigation, but will run to publish distortions.
Anyway, must we die because we have been over billed? Or must we retrieve our bills by all means at the cost of killing innocent people?
