Keshan Brown, a popular Old Harbour personality in the entertainment circle and young musical talent, died during a domestic dispute early this morning.
Information is that at about 1:00 am 24 year-old Brown is said to have been accidentally shot in the head by her estranged boyfriend after the two had an argument at a premises in Sharper Lane, Church Pen.
She was rushed to the Spanish Town Hospital where she died while undergoing treatment.
The boyfriend, who is a licensed firearm holder, is presently in police custody.
It is alleged that during the dispute, Brown stabbed her partner at which point one shot was fired.
Brown’s death has triggered shockwaves throughout Old Harbour and parts of the wider entertainment fraternity.
During her now short-lived musical journey, her works will be remembered for songs such as Nirvana, Walk Out and Bubble Up Yuh Body, a collaboration done in 2015 featuring incarcerated dancehall heavyweight Vybz Kartel, which garnered over one million views on YouTube.
