KIKI DE ESSIEN, DJ A BAY BAY EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH THE BEST DANCEHALL ARTIST, SHATTA WALE
Shatta Wale one of Ghana’s finest dancehall artist gets down with the unflagging DJ Kiki De Essien on a program dubbed Sunday special on Success 90.9mhz Goaso.
Shatta Wale started by showing gratitude to his fans and added that his fans prayers keeps him moving and he is happy to be called on this show for his fans to hear his voice.
About his latest track Low Tempo he stated emphatically that the song low temple is about motivation and advise. He explained that some people will see you and might think everything is moving on well in your life but it may not be that way. Recently Ghana has seen a lot of suicide cases, and this is because of small problem the victims couldn’t controlled ,So he is by this song Low Tempo begging Ghanaians to have patience and trust in God because God’s time is the best.
About his famous song Taking over, he emphasized that the song is about life, how to believe in yourself and prove people wrong. He added that CAPTAIN, JOINT 77, Addi Self and others has been underrated by people in Nima that they can’t make it in life but he sat down with them and told them they will do magic for people to see the glory of God. This is how come they brought the song Taking Over.
In his song,(taking over) he mentioned Sergeant Lee and explained that the word sergeant lee refers to Enemies of progress.
About his new song FORGETTI which he featured pope skinny, he explained that all his songs is about life. He said people should cherish what they have and shouldn’t envy what a friend has. He advised the youth that God knows best and so they should be content with what they have. He used himself as an example that people talk about him but he doesn’t care because he believe in himself and God.
Shatta Wale told the DJ, Kiki de Essien that he has no competitor in Ghana and he can confidently say that if you rank best dancehall artist from one to five, his name will appear five times because he is the best.
He finally thanked his fans by showing his love and respect for them.
