Thomas Partey Delivers Midfield Masterclass As Arsenal Beat Manchester United

As Arsenal beat Manchester United 1-0 on Sunday, Thomas Partey delivered a midfield masterclass.
Partey, 27, starred for the Gunners, who at Old Trafford secured three big points.
The Ghanaian, who arrived for £45 million in the summer transfer window, showed off both sides of his game as he produced passes from midfield and broke up play.
In the first-half alone, he completed three take-ons and recovered the ball eight times, among other stats.

Partey’s stellar performance got fans talking online with many comparing him to Paul Pogba who failed to influence the match.
One Twitter user wrote: “Partey rightly gets all the praises in this half but Elneny has been underrated. Superb partnership by both in midfield so far though.”
A second tweeted: “Thomas Partey has been the best player on the pitch by some distance. Looking forward every time he gets the ball.”
A third added: “He’s been everywhere, would have hated being a United player in that half because every time they turned Partey was on top of them.”
The 1-0 victory over United moves Arsenal to 8th in the Premier League with 12 points on the board.

Thomas Partey has gone beyond adapting to the Premier League and has become the entire Premier League in a matter of days. A truly impressive feat.

Partey dominating Pogba in the midfield with relative ease. You love to see it.
