Ireland is currently offering a fully funded scholarship program through the Kader Asmal Fellowship for students in selected destinations on the African continent.
The scholarship is part of the many awards offered by Ireland to international students. Irish Government, Universities, and other organizations have fully funded scholarships for international students who wish to upgrade their education in Ireland.
The Kader Asmal Fellowship is specially designed for South African students with the intention of studying undergraduate programs in some of the higher institutions in Ireland.
The scholarship is specially designed for early career professionals with leadership qualities in South Africa and also has support for the sustainable development goals. They must also be in the position of supporting women’s development and participation in STEM.

The program is solely funded by the Irish Aid for South African students wishing to pursue postgraduate programs in Ireland for a period of ten to sixteen months. Many students with Bachelor’s degree as basic qualifications are considered for the scholarship program.
Eligible candidates must be residents of South Africa with a minimum of two-years working experience related to the course of study in Ireland with a minimum of 3.0 GPA and first or second class honors.
Apart from Tuition, the program also comes with other benefits including monthly allowances, Accommodation, Cost of flights, insurance, and many other incidental expenses.
